Our method

Work on a mechanical chronograph movement

If a watch has been in use for a long time, perhaps dropped, damaged by moisture or affected by unsuccessful repair attempts, reliable function cannot be restored through simple measures.

It takes a carefully considered sequence of inspections and work, without shortcuts, and a high degree of precision to carry out a flawless, high-quality repair.

This includes very specific details: thorough fault diagnosis; persistence in identifying the root cause; careful preliminary cleaning of the movement while it is fully disassembled; high precision in adjustment, assembly and lubrication; and an accurate, extensive final inspection.

Less obvious points also play a major role: a solid theoretical foundation, experience and practice with movements and repair methods, and finally a great attention to detail, the willingness to make the effort needed to do things “properly”, dedication and full concentration on the current service.

We have therefore made a habit of going the “extra mile” required for dependable quality in repairing a watch. As our mission already says: “We repair watches and clocks as they should be repaired …”

Our certifications

Certification means that a manufacturer continually audits us as an authorised service workshop, and that we have the workshop equipment, brand-specific specialist tools and training.

Omega

We are particularly qualified to service Omega watches, especially complicated chronographs, Speedmaster models and vintage watches.

Tag Heuer

Without TAG Heuer, the history of wristwatches would be only half as fascinating. We are delighted to have achieved certification.

Union Glashütte

We have recently also become a certified service centre for Union Glashütte.

Longines

Longines has a vintage tradition that need not stand in the shadow of brands such as Omega …

Rado

We are a Rado-certified service centre.

Further brands

We also hold full certification for Tissot, Mido and Certina.
Vintage Tissot models once stood in relation to Omega as Tudor does to Rolex. We also gladly accept these high-quality treasures.

Can’t find your brand?

Some brands do not offer a certification programme and sell spare parts and specialist tools to watchmaking workshops without conditions. We can fully repair these without difficulty. Some examples:

Chopard, Chronoswiss, Ebel, Fortis, Frederique Constant, Mühle Glashütte, Nomos Glashütte, Oris, Seiko, Sinn and many more …

Other brands

Through our experience with vintage watches, we are accustomed to working in difficult circumstances without a full spare-part supply. Please do not hesitate to ask us!
